WOMEN, PEACE AND SECURITY IN CENTRAL AFRICA

Official Launch Ceremony of the Project “Women, Peace and Security in Central Africa” by the Association for the Fight against Violence against Women (ALVF).

The Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and the Family (MINPROFF) is committed to promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment, and the protection of women’s rights in Cameroon and the Central African region. This project aligns with the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.

The project aims to strengthen the role of women in peacebuilding processes, conflict prevention, and security sector reform in Central Africa. It brings together key stakeholders including government institutions, civil society organizations, and international partners.

  • Promote gender-sensitive approaches to conflict resolution
